Leap day is a day that comes around once ever 4 years. It has to do with keeping the calendar year and synchronized with the astronomical year. We all know there are 365 days in a year, but did you know there's actually a little more than that, 365.25 (rounded up), so every 4 years that .25 adds up to an extra day...today is that day! Whoo hoo... There's more to it than that, but there's the unofficial "Cliff" notes version...
Theres a lot going on today and it's barely even started...So I'm gonna post everything in one spot, make sure to come back throughout the day to check it again, I'm sure I'll be posting it numerous times, every time I find something new!!! ok, so let's get started:
